Also, raw materials and supply chain issues make the F35 cost increase more and more along with ever changing software upgrades etc. I'm curious to see what a non large corporation would be able to pull off as a competitor. Trump didn't exude any stink I could detect. Granted, his persona was one of a glossy classless New York fat cat. His crass style was refreshing when he made fun of and nicknamed the pompous political bigshots on both sides of the ailse. For a while, he did deliver in the first months of his presidency in 2024. Bringing in Elon Musk and his DOGE team to perform cavity search of US Government agencies was hilarious. I was dying for their inspection, probing or examination of the inside of a the Pentagon's anus for the purpose of determining concealed evidence of fraud and waste amounting to trillions of dollars of unaudited expenses. Congress was obviously complicit in the crime of cheating American taxpayers; otherwise, they would not have let the whole thing go away.
