Maybe you should change the word 'evangelical' to zionist. Many evangelical Christians are not Zionist. I would suggest that a vocal minority are Zionist.

@hippyjoe1955 fifty one million.

@Roundandroundwego So have done the count? I am an evangelical and I have gone to many evangelical churches. The minority of the people are Zionists. Most are not.

@Roundandroundwego As do I pay attention. I am simply pointing out that while some evangelicals are Zionists not all evangelicals are Zionist. Some Catholics are Zionist too. Not all by any means but I have met some. Some Jews are Zionist but many Jews are not Zionist. The distinction needs to be made.

@hippyjoe1955 yeah, I've met the people. They are all part of a hegemonic mindset unless they are clearly misfits, radical thinkers who do distinguish themselves from the USA uber alles leadership and mainstream. They're afraid and not welcome. They begin with lip service to the hegemon, and end with the idea that we can get along while it's still expanding westward and taking over. We cannot.
