I was wrong!

A ew days ago I wrote that Mike Huckabee's biggest act of stupidity was failing to drown his daughter Sarah at birth. I stand corrected. He just shot America in both feet right where every gas guzzling American will feel it. By saying out loud that Israel had a biblical right to the land they claim.
Now I know a lot of Muslim Arab oil states who are going to take issue with that. Only a couple of days after Trump announces he is going to "do something" about Iran and the British announce loud and clear they wont allow their bases in Britain or the Indian Ocean to be used to do it..
Not only has been uppity about his minor religion and its preeminence over all other gods. He has also thrown a well oiled spanner in the relatively cosy relationship America has with Saudi Arabia (You know. That country where all the 9/11 hijacker came from) and all the other oil producing states... Time to supersize the Coke and Popcorn and get comfy in your recliner. This show could get interesting..😷

I read a comment on this site concerning conquered land that the land belongs to those who conquer it regardless of who was indigenous to it.

And it seems that is still the standard of today and has been.

Well hundreds of years Israel did not own / govern it, but the land was ruled by several Nations of the Arab descent Egypt and Jordan - Palestine by Great Britain. There were a couple of wars 1948 which established Israel in the land and 1967 Israel defeated Egypt, Jordan, and Syria and regain control and government of the land.

So by the standards of war and conquer the land belongs to Israel.

And according to scripture God gave it to them and it will always be theirs even though they are scattered they will always go back. Isn't that ironic, Egypt enslave them and God took them to the land in which he had given Abraham. The Assyrians / Israel got it back - the Babylonians, Israel retrieved it back - the Romans, Arabics and Israel got it back.

Trump kisses up to the countries he wants to benefit from and Arabia is one. He'll give them something to pacify them if they feel hostile, It wouldn't surprise me if it's something top secret.

@Charity Your point is well made.. And I declare as an Atheist I dont have a horse in that race regarding any religious claim. I just figure if religion went away, so would many of the fights people have with each other..But religion aside, in my experience the Arab viewpoint can become flexible and appeased by "offerings" if their religion is offended. Huckabee is going to cost Trump. And that means its going to cost Americans..😷

I've mentioned this point of view has always been prevalent within the white Christian nationalist before.

It's why the insistence in having the ten commandments in schools.

They really don't want the New testament even in the schools because it's "supposed" to be all inclusive. Also remember the removal of DEI and that "I" stands for Inclusion.

Mike Huckabee is your typical white Christian nationalist.

It's interesting that the UAE and Pakistan are still apart of Trump's "peace board".

The billions Trump collected by Trump will be going to the IDF in the West Bank under the guise of aid to "Palestine". Most certainly not to Gaza.

Discussion on Aid Allocation and Perspectives

The concerns surrounding the allocation of funds tied to Trump’s Board of Peace, particularly regarding Gaza, are valid. The assertions made in interviews, like the one with Tucker Carlson featuring Mike Huckabee, raise significant doubts about where the aid is truly directed.

Points of Contention

Aid Disbursement: While official announcements state that billions will go toward rebuilding Gaza, skeptics argue that much of this funding may actually support the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) or infrastructure in the West Bank, rather than genuinely addressing the needs of Gazans. The framing of the aid could be seen as a political maneuver rather than a true humanitarian effort.

Huckabee's Perspective: Huckabee's comments play into a narrative that emphasizes support for Israel and may imply that financial help will be strategically used to bolster the IDF’s capabilities rather than assisting Palestinian civilians directly. This aligns with a historical context where perceived aid often prioritizes

Israeli security over Palestinian needs.

Political Motivations: The motivations behind these pledges and the inclusion of specific nations, such as the UAE and Pakistan, can also be viewed through a lens of geopolitical strategy where the assistance might serve broader political goals rather than being purely humanitarian.

Observations

The contrasting views about the intended recipients of these funds highlight a deep-seated skepticism regarding international aid in conflict zones. This skepticism is compounded by the complex realities on the ground, where the line between aid and military support can often blur. The perceptions formed from discussions like those in the Carlson-Huckabee interview resonate with many who feel that political ideologies overshadow genuine support for people in need.

The current known total Trump's peace board collected is approximately 17 billion. Now imagine what that could do for the IDF. 😢
