@jshm2 Not only this but if they fight it out with Iran this also means it will speed up the strategic defeat of the US empire in Europe with Ukraine. There are only so many Patriots to waste for example.

That being said if the regime change war tradition holds they might make Zelensky a Governor of some random province of Iran under Reza Palavi. 😂

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Well, I believe that THAAD is now declassified (although I don’t trust the Demented Donnie/Kegsbreath “definition of declassification” so I won’t speak in depth about it). And I am Retired USAF, not USN, but our fleet defense is pretty damn amazing! The PLA has nothing that can hold a candle to it so I think our service members are relatively safe—until their incompetent “leaders” [two named earlier in this message] start sprouting off their illegal and idiotic orders—what do you expect from a Demented Fool & a paranoid Drunkard?

@KunsanVeteran Unfortunately according to the USN themselves they have lost their at sea re-supply capability (Supply ships are not cool) so they just have to run them out of missiles before American ships have to race back to the closest friendly port with the capability of loading more missiles aboard and being effectively unarmed when they leave station. So the definition of the USN as a blue water navy is getting rocky these days.

And the PLA Navy is not to be under estimated.

And to take out a carrier you don't have to sink it. American planes need pristine runways so all you need to do is blow a hole into the flat top and you have a mission kill.

And in recent conflicts we have seen how saturation is effective.
