European watchdog is going to audit X's Grok

This should be interesting. Grok is apparently producing naked photos of children. It's too bad that Wurope decided to take it up when it should be the United states that keeps us in line but yeah. The reason I say it should be interesting is that a bunch of maga been getting it for child stuff and border agents also ice agents too. Hmm...

So, not that I'm defending anybody who tries to use AI to generate that trash, or anybody who allows their AI software to generate it, but how do we know people weren't just trying to bypass the guardrails to make something Grok wasn't supposed to be doing? I've never tried making that kind of content, but I did successfully trick an AI into animating me throwing an axe and it embedding himself in a man's back. Does that mean Vidu allows gore? No. It means I was able to outwit it.

@ItsMeMorgue Oh I wouldn't ever say you were defending anyone like that, I know what you're saying. I think it's entirely possible and I've done it myself lol. Because I find the censorship kinda ridiculous. I've had ai censor really light adult nudity that's on the safer side but was still flagged.

Even more annoying when I go to edit a very safe art picture and it gives me a warning that the edit would be unsafe for mid journey to produce lol.

At the same time, with what was said, the way I heard it was that Grok was using real images of children so I'm not entirely sure what's going on there. I'll have to see. I am happy they are investigating though. Real pictures of children I wonder where it got it from.

@SatanBurger In my experience, when Grok needs to know something, it is pretty upfront and honest about searching the internet for it. Which means that crap is available. Probably either deep web or dark web.
