I don't think Obama ever called anyone a monkey, but there was no shortage of monkey jokes about GW Bush, as I recall.

A perfect example of how MAGAts just don't get it.

@MoveAlong Yup... when you point out what people in power are doing, they just pretend that some random person on the internet has the same weight in the conversation. It's just what happens when you have no real standards.

You're wrong on both counts. 0 %
I'm not a MAGAt, and I get it perfectly well: when the left does it, it's perfectly fine, but when the right does it, it's terrible.

P.S. @Kwek00

Steve Bell (political cartoonist of the Guardian for decades) is not some random person on the internet. He routinely depicted GW Bush as a chimp.

Bell finally got to be too much even for the Guardian.

@Thinkerbell That's because the Right is not as loved as the Left.

@Thinkerbell Now we are comparing a cartoonists with a head of state. 🤷‍♂
Is that cartoonist also taking about how migrants poison the blood of his country?

It's just what happens when you have no real standards.

Thx for making my point. 🤷‍♂
@Thinkerbell in response to "when you point out what people in power are doing" says

So you're asking us to accept that a political cartoonist for a British tabloid has verbal reach and verbal power in the world comparable to a US president who happens to also own his own social network.

??? SERIOUSLY ???
