I understand wanting to give hope but...

All the liberal news people, media and such are all saying, "trump is in fear! Trump is being terrified! Trump has his back against the wall!"

But does he?

Does he, really?

They've been saying this for over a year now.

It's hard to believe when nothing has really changed and things are still facistly awful. We are still decending into Germany 1932 at a pretty free fall pace now.

So...I suspect that what they say will be true when:

1) The Republicans get outnumbered in the midterms (if we are even allowed to have them)

2) Other countries deem us such a threat they attack us

3) in 3 more years when his term is hopefully over.

Please quit lying. There's nothing that is making Trump back down.

What repercussions are there for these types of politics? Because I don't see any. The group in power is pushing and pushing, but there is no real way to hurt them. The reason why there is no real way to hurt them, is because key positions in the Judicial brand are infiltrated by loyalists and congress isn't functioning. So, as a citizen, you only have yourself and your like minded people.

Don't forget what the head of the herritage foundation said:

These people are prepared to use violence, to get what they want. And you can see that in the streets of Minneapolis right now. You also got a good view of it on january the 6th 2021.These people don't want to talk, they are zealots. And they don't recognise the opposition as equals OR even human beings. So the time of talking is over, because they don't even recognise your seat at the table anymore.

You can still protest as much as you want, in the hope to reach a peacefull understanding... but once that turns bloody, your options are supremely limited. If you are not ready to pick up a pitchfork, then you are lost against these types. Because they are willing to do what is nescessary to create their vision. They don't care about you because in their eyes you are just immoral garbage and you either shut up or get removed. This rhetoric, is really clear for people that have been listening for the past 10 years.

@Kwek00 I agree. And media things that say that the administration is scrambling or terrified or grasping is not what they should be saying because it provides a false sense of security. People feel like things are going to be okay and they don't have to do anything or worry, when in fact, they need to be actively participating in making sure their communities are able to handle what is to come or may come.

@FoxyGoddess I honestly think, that there is a certain fear for the elections... because everything says they are going to loose.

But from the poppulist perspective, they are going to loose from people that they believe don't even have the right to vote. So even if you win, there will be another myth created about how the election is stolen. And there will be no repercursion for this, this myth will just fester in the minds of the true believers. And this will create more steam that at some point in the future will find release in terrible ways.

Last time, these guys backed up from going tull revolutionairy, they are still working within the system. But if they loose again, I don't think they are going to work within the system. There is no reason too... and like I said, these people are "all in". Even if they pardon themselves, there needs to be a reckoning. This group of radicals, wrecked the country so hard, that the path you are now dependent on, will only have worst choices and outcomes, then if they were never in power at all. And your insititutions have just been infiltrated by the same loyalist zealots. And these people are very aware, that will all the precedents they are creating, that they will give away a pretty authoritarian executive branch to the opposition? Why would you ever do that? Or is the supreme court just going to admit that the previous rullings (like the immunity ruling) were just a mistake and they smartened up just in time so that the new administration can finally be checked and balanced again?

... Not to mention, if the truth that is happening in those camps that they have build, finally comes out? I mean, ICE is masked, because they don't want people to know who is doing the attrocities. But ICE is largely operating in the view of those that are on the streets. In those detention centers, there is no oversight. After the truth comes out, there will be very little to be proud of as an American.
