Lee Anderson was a classic spokesman yesterday on Today. They've come up with some plans to cut business rates for pubs, cut all duty on beer and I think other alcohol, and give the increased child benefits to children who have two British born parents. When the BBC interviewer challenged him and said that the numbers didn't add up according to the economists they've spoken to, Anderson simply shouted back that it was typical BBC and he didn't care what numbers they came up with his people were right. This is purely a personal opinion, but I think he's an oaf

@jefferson He was careful not to say White British, which unfortunately the interviewer had said. He came back very forcefully against that. They play the racist card very subtly, which they have to since they have recently received a number of non-White people into the fold. As more and more Conservatives join it will become indistinguishable from them. It's a crying shame that the opposition, which is in government is in such disarray.
