This also sends a message that elections are the domain of the states. Very timely considering demented donnie's rhetoric yesterday about federalizing elections.

Truth of the matter is that the SCOTUS never figured that “two could play the gerrymandering game.”

Newsome played it perfectly and the SCOTUS had to rule in favor of the CA new maps or be exposed for blatant partisan politics.

Now if NY can get their maps ready in time (but districts have to be finalized soon so that the ballots and polling stations are ready for the midterms).
