Bovino Assigned To Central California

Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino, a prominent figure in 2025-2026 immigration enforcement, was reportedly reassigned to his former role leading the El Centro sector in Southern/Central California. Following a demotion from his role as "commander-at-large" due to controversies and a fatal shooting in Minneapolis, he was moved back to this sector.

The announcement also said that he's retiring.

Hmmmmm....
