Trump Suggests Alex Pretti Was To Blame For Bringing His Legal Gun
Trump on Tuesday suggested that Alex Pretti, who was gunned down by immigration officers in Minneapolis on Saturday, may have brought his death on himself by bringing his registered handgun with him when he went to document agents’ behavior.
“You can’t walk in with guns,” he told reporters as he prepared to board Marine One to give a rally speech in Iowa.
When one reporter followed up by asking about the Second Amendment, Trump doubled down: “You can't walk in with guns. You can't do that. It's just a very unfortunate incident.”
Here's what Bovino said Sunday morning:
You can watch the entire video, but pay close attention to minutes 11 to 12, where Bovino admits personally having a concealed weapon on his person, while participating in protests.
