Chief judge in MN has ordered director of ice to appear in courts or be held in contempt

This comes after ice is set to go harass people at the super bowl this year. Where they're going to bring chaos to people watching sports. The court says they are sick of it, if the director of ice doesn't show they are going to be held in contempt. This isn't directly the reason but due to the recent chaos in MN.

So you would actually take orders from Governor Tim Walz?

@JohnnySpot what does taking orders have to do with the director of ice being held for contempt in court?

@SatanBurger Contempt of court is the act of disrespecting or disobeying judicial authority.
The Supreme Court just ruled that appointed judges can't set national precedence.
The director of ice is not being held in contempt of court.
My question was on the topic of the whole problem in Minnesota.
The state government in Minnesota doesn't have a leg to stand on legally.

Supreme Court just passed a law
Wow, that's cool!! For the past 248 years or so, only Congress could pass laws. Really unbelievably amazing that the Supreme Court suddenly developed the ability to pass laws!!!

@JohnnySpot States rights do exist though and we'll have to see what happens with contempt of court order.
