Mr. Jones has been writing and researching White Christian Nationalism for a while now. His new book will be published this year. For people that are intresting, he gave a couple of good interviews about the subject and the current times.

... but yeah, these people that are looking into this phenomena are comming to the same conclussion. The time to be passive and just "talk" is over. You have a group of people in office, and they are "all in". If they loose power, they will loose this authoritarian model that they build up in less then a year. If you think you are going to have "free and fair" elections, then you are just deluting yourself.

The abuse of the term 'Christian' fills me with anger (righteous - I hope). Jesus Christ, God made flesh, was a Jew. The faith was founded through the strictest of Jews (Saul/Paul). Jesus commands nowhere included taking over political movements or subjugating nations. These people must be challenged at every point.

Pat Buchanan once said "America was built by white men for white men."

He's half right. The labor used to build America was diverse, but a simple look at the founding fathers and how they wrote the Constitution, proves that the "New World" was strictly for the rich white guys.

@JSul3 :) In a 2000 piece (often quoted regarding his views on American hypocrisy), O'Rourke sharply contrasted American actions with other nations, suggesting Americans often hypocritically gloss over the violence, saying, “Indians have a legal right to live in Ohio, but oops, we killed them all”

@val70 The history of the US is rife with horrible events, glossed over by things like Manifest Destiny....."ordained by God."
