Dispatch Botched this one badly.
As someone who has a reputation for being a loose cannon I pretty much can instantly recognize another loose cannon and Jonathan Ross is ten times the loose cannon I will ever be and that's what frustrates me like I can see it I recognize the recklessness and vindictive behavior because I've been that way before, but that's the thing as a metaphor here you don't put a loose cannon in charge of a China shop as in you don't put someone who is reckless in positions of authority and out in the field where they might go off the reservation and unload their clip into someone when every other officer hasn't even though to pull their guns out. Plus, the dude has PTSD which, yeah, you don't hand a guy with PTSD a gun. Dispatch royally fucked up in Minneapolis. PTSD is a mitigating factor, not an excuse, though.
I've mentioned my interest in chemistry, for instance, and how I am drawn largely because of my reputation and how you cannot be reckless with chemistry. Everything requires oodles of caution and preparation. And that carefulness is a skill I should learn.
