This Is Not An Onion Story

Last night, María Corina Machado, Venezuela’s opposition leader and the winner of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, said that she would like nothing more then to offer her prize to Trump.

Trump immediately said it would be an honor to accept it and invited her to the White House next week.

Trump had refused to support her to lead the country following the U.S. seizure of Maduro.

I guess someone whispered in her ear that if she does that, Trump will change his mind.

Trump is going to be disappointed. A Nobel Prize winner cannot simply "give" their prize to someone else because the award is personal recognition for specific achievements. Once the prize is awarded it also cannot be given back and the committee's decision is final.

Probably also explain Trump's "truth" rant for Norway's failure to give him a Nobel prize.

Who still believes the USA is governed by a sane person?

Even if he did have a change of heart, Mr. Trump is in too deeply to do anything but either carry on using the government that Mr. Maduro had established, or withdraw and let the Venezuelans sort themselves out.
