Escalation In Seattle

Yesterday, Seattle police responded to a report that three masked and armed men in an unmarked white van, abducted three people from a cemetery in North Seattle.

Arriving cops were confronted by masked men, who produced ICE identification. The ICE agents transferred the three men to a marked ICE van and took off.

This could have ended badly with cops shooting at ICE, as there was no prior notification.

But Trump decide now to turn his attention toward Seattle, because the city's new Mayor insists on maintain Seattle's sanctuary city status.

Needless to say the city is on edge with the killing in Minneapolis and shootings in Portland.

This feels like a scene from an apocalyptic movie and things can escalate pretty fast.

Portland Oregon as well had two killed. Not much details as far as I can tell. Possibly FBI yet not even the governor was certain.

@DeWayfarer The Portland victims have been hospitalized. They're a married couple.

According to DHS, agents were conducting a "targeted vehicle stop". They claim the driver "weaponized" the vehicle and attempted to run over the agents, prompting one agent to fire a "defensive shot".

The husband was shot in the chest, the wife was collateral damage.

Because "agents" are not required to have cameras, we're going to be seeing these terms a lot "weaponized" the vehicle" and "defensive shot".
