So, now that a white woman was killed by ICE, democrats are suddenly trying to take action?

What about the horrendous crimes to minorities ICE has perpetrated during this entire last year?

Why is it now suddenly an issue for the democrats to address?

I don't know how either party can be supported at this point. They are both completely rubbish white supremacists.

@ThirstenHowl Honestly, the DNC is going to keep throwing eldery conservatives at us, or, at best, Newsome, who I wouldn't vote for.

The progressives just need to nut up and create their own party. Aligning themselves with democrats is just helping to keep them silenced. I think there are enough people willing to vote for a progressive party candidate than there ever has been before.

@FoxyGoddess it's too little too late for sure, but still better than continuing to do nothing. I guess I'll take any crumb at this point.
I have no faith in any US politician anymore either, but I guess I'm relieved to see at least some opposition before they went from 1930s Germany to 1940s Germany.

The fact that individual Americans are doing more to stop ICE than the democratic party is a disgusting fact of the democrats.

TBF, this is the first time, at least as far as we know, that an ICE agent just straight-up murdered someone. This is a huge escalation.

But also, there's a good chance it will amount to nothing on the Democrats' part.

@Vin53 I don't disagree with you. Actions to stop this should have statted over a year ago. However, it seems that wasn't going to happen until white person was killed. Now, all the sudden, the democrats are motivated to do something. The previous hundreds of people having their rights stripped from them wasn't enough? Was it because they were brown and therefore considered "not American"? Why are they just now after the death of a white person actually trying to do something?

I agree that it shouldn't matter what race the people are, but it was made obviously clear that it does with the democrats doing something now.
