Any Member of the U.S. Military Would Be Following an ILLEGAL ORDER If He/She Participates In ANY Military Action Against Greenland.

We have a TREATY with the Kingdom of Denmark as part of NATO. Taking any military action against signatories to that Treaty would be a VIOLATION of law.

Article VI of the U.S. Constitution

All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

Furthermore, the Congress passed a law in 2024 that PROHIBITS the president from withdrawing from NATO with a two-thirds supermajority in the U.S. Senate.

Should Il Duce attempt to do in violation of that law he will almost certainly be impeached, convicted and removed from office. The same with Vice President Vance should he try the attempt in relief of Trump. We'd end up with a President Mike Johnson in the short term but that would be FAR BETTER than the alternative.

You have a lot more confidence in Congress than I do. Trump has engaged in several impeachable offenses so far, and nothing has happened.

As a NATO member, an attack on Denmark would trigger a response in theory, but the assumption was that NATO would respond to an external attack, not one of its members attacking another member. So this would be new territory.
