@YoMomma You know we have universal health care in Canada... When my Mother needed an artificial hip... she got one.. When she needed a pacemaker ... she got one.. When she spent a month in the ICU .. no problem - and no one had to pay health care premiums to an insurance company... She is going to be 97 years old in ten days time... 97...That is older than anyone else in my family ever lived... My Wife's Grandfather lived to be 105... and he had a heat attack and a heart bypass at age 93... Not likely that he would have been given this surgery for free in the USA now is it? The AVERAGE life expectancy in the USA is about seven years LESS than it is for us in Canada and the principle reason is that we have universal health care.. and Americans do NOT have it.. So while you are chanting rah rah over Venezuela and Greenland and Cuba and Columbia and Mexico and hope to annex Canada - well guess what - we don't want you the fuck to touch Canada.. From our perspective its far better that you die seven years sooner than we do... Israel has even better health care there than we do here.. Cuba has universal health care .. but not the USA... So yup you enjoy Venezuela and the head lines while you and your family die younger than we will.. To get it... You need to move to Israel.. because you are never going to get it in America ...

The american medical system needs major reform because it revolves around greed instead of health anymore and that needs to change.. cut out extortion and cut out the middle man aka the health insurance companies

@pdqsailor1 obama forced useless medicare payments on small business owners and self employed persons.. he didn't help, he made things worse for the working class .

@YoMomma The affordable care act is NOT what he wanted.. its what the Democrats had to settle for in negotiating with the GOP.. it was the best they would allow them to have or get so they compromised.. What they wanted was to ELIMINATE health care insurance companies.. entirely.. They never got there... and the removal of the subsidies now... is entirely on Trump and the GOP.. which is what the shut down was all about.. what is coming next is round two and this time its going to be a whole LOT worse and deservedly so... I may not be an American - but I know what is going on and who is responsible for it..

@YoMomma What America needs is what Canada (and the rest of the civilized world) has.. Medical care for people who need it and no middlemen making a profit off it for no purpose or reason.. Health care is NOT a business... its a service that every living person requires..
