And Donald Trump, who had clearly encouraged those people to attack the lawmakers (ergo our government) in the Capitol building was still reelected as president and he then pardoned those who had attacked the government on his behalf.

And Trump’s only reason for having encouraged that attack was the fact that he lost a legal election.
