McDonald's (and now pretty much all the burger joints) have done the same with cashiers.
Business owners have expenses. There are utilities (electric, water, phone, Internet); taxes, licensing, insurance, etc. The highest expense is labor. Some labor is worth more than others.
You don't see hospitals replacing heart surgeons with robots.
If you have a job that can be replaced by a robot, YOU DESERVE TO BE REPLACED.
