The MURDER of Rob Reiner and his wife: AWFUL

I don't know what's worse. Getting murdered by a total stranger or getting murdered by ONE'S SON.
Actually, I do know. It's a worse tragedy. It's the ultimate betrayal. He did NOTHING to deserve this.

What an amazing career Rob had. (We should be celebrating his successes, as well as mourning his passing.)

The guy was a household name in the Seventies as Michael (Meathead) Stivic, from All In The Family. The guy was a live audience comic genius, a perfect counterpart to Carroll O'Connor's Archie. That kind of comedic genius one is not born with. That takes a lot of work, and Rob came from a genius comedy family.

His amazing movies include Stephen King's "Stand By Me" and "Misery," not easy stories to bring to life on film. (And King didn't get hate mail like he did when Stanley Kubrick butchered "The Shining.")

Also included "This Is Spinal Tap" (for those who need to turn the amp up to 11) "When Harry Met Sally," that awesome Marine flick "A Few Good Men," and The Princess Bride and The American President.

The guy was a great film director.

Yes, he had some far left wing political views. Gee! Wonder if there's anyone in Hollywood who didn't. He didn't deserve to die for them, just as Charlie Kirk didn't deserve to die for his.

America lost a great director and actor. And it's especially a shame this happened at his son's hands.
