Why blow up the “drug boats” instead of track them to shore and arrest them there? You gain more intel from living people than dead people.

Is the hope that the extreme violence will be a deterrent? Honest question here…

Most of the drug boats dump their load in a general area and another boat will pick up the cargo. If there is any possibility of law enforcement, they just abandon said cargo. The drugs wash up on a random beach or are found by fishing boats. Research the “Florida black grouper”….

@3Dogmatic Running drugs is a crime not an act of terror or war. Our military could have easily boarded and arrested the people on those boats instead of killing them. They could also prove they were actually committing a crime.

@MoveAlong tell that to those who lost loved ones to fentanyl cut cocaine or weed. It is now common knowledge that drug runners are not safe to play as usual.

@MoveAlong they were designed as terrorists to make sure all possible resources were applied. Your logic on the user and supplier is weak. If you know where the stuff is coming from, stop it. Send a message to the criminals that it is bad business to try to bring it in.

@MoveAlong might want to crank that gaslight down a little. The question was about drug running. Look at the numbers of deaths fentanyl is causing. The stuff is making its way into cocaine, and even weed, thus the increase in death. Why would they do that? It’s not for profit.

@3Dogmatic Drug cartels are not plying their trade for profit? You should inform CNN. That may be the news scoop of the year.
