Trump Pardons Tim Leiweke

Trump has pardoned a real estate developer who was indicted by a federal grand jury just months ago — the latest in a series of expansive uses of executive clemency during his second term.

Trump granted clemency to Tim Leiweke, the former CEO of a commercial real estate firm that specialized in building sports arenas and stadiums in the U.S. and Canada, according to records released Wednesday by the Justice Department. He was charged in July for orchestrating a conspiracy to rig the bidding process for an arena at the University of Texas.

Leiweke also built the Climate Pledge Arana in Seattle, a $1.15 billion project.

Another example of DOJ resources well spent!

Leiweke is most known for his development of L.A. Live, the entertainment complex surrounding Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. He served as the CEO of the company that owns stakes in the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings, before serving as the CEO of the company that owns the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. His brother, Tod Leiweke, was formerly COO of the National Football League and is part-owner of the Seattle Kraken.

This is the golden era of American criminals!
