If you are who you hang out with, and you hang out with nobody, does that make you a nobody?

Very much so. I like being a nobody to everybody. It's like being a tourist having a fine time with everybody as a nobody. I did that a lot all over the world and kept up that lifestyle after I got back home to the US just before Covid broke out in 2019. Staying 6 feet apart and no handsakes worked for me. Crossing the street when I saw someone coming up the sidewalk was not considered rude and the proper thing to do. I hate having to say all that inane stuff like "hello", "good morning" unless I am walking into Home Depot to shop and have to acknowledge the greeting.

I know! No one is like me. It's not that others notice that I am odd or unusual. They don't know I exist even when I am among them having a great time in their company. We would exchange phone numbers wanting to meet up again but I never call them or return calls.
ur one of the oddest ppl I ever encountered 🤔

I can only speak for myself. In the moment when one is having a great time with another, there is this desire to do it again. The feeling is genuine but the magic is ephemeral. Like clouds in the sky the lovely patterns are constantly shifting. It's like falling in love. It's not possible to do it deliberately again.
bc it’s all pretence..not fair to the other person.
