If Donald Trump fails will America be the laughing stock of the world ?

@Zonuss: The reality is Obama has a made a mess of foreign policy. The world is in worse shape, partly due to his decisions. He's been schizophrenic, inconsistent. He's ignored China and North Korea, caved to Russia at nearly every step, and made a hash of the Middle East. He chose the Iranian government over the Iranian people, he sided with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, ruffles Israel's feathers every chance he gets, and drew three or four red lines in the sand in Syria that were all meaningless. And his parting piece is a "deal" with Iran that gives Iran everything they want. US relations are at all time low with several countries, and we haven't made any new alliances or friendships to make up for it. That is the reality. He isn't disciplined. He isn't even mature. He makes diplomats wait outside his office for hours needlessly because he's miffed. That is the action of a child.

Foreigners can look at him at see whatever they want to see. I'm more concerned with the results of his efforts. And they have been abysmal. So, fine, those same people want to laugh at Trump, be my guest. Reality over perception.

@Zonuss: No. I'm done giving Obama a pass. His decisions, his responsibility. This isn't kindergarten. Regardless, as I said, some are more concerned with perception. I am not one of them.

If you really believe it's the "elites," how do you give a pass to Obama, who is the elitist of the elites by his very position? It makes no sense. Which is the problem with perception.
