FINALLY, Labour is scrapping the cruel two-child benefit cap, which will now lift 450,000 UK children out of poverty.

Better late than never, but they would have built up so much goodwill, and may not have fatally shot themselves in the foot, if they had announced this in last year's Budget just after coming to power.

The country needs economic growth and there's little to be had.

You can't spend 'goodwill'.

Everyone wants more money in their pockets especially when you have no control over energy pricing or food import costs. Particularly in light of the fact that so much of THAT comes from Ukraine who are still trying to fend off Russia's continued onslaught which slows production and safe export

@ididntknow It's also not a fact, it's a meme. The Office For National Statistics does not ask for religion when a birth is registered.

So yes, posting this meme and claiming it's the reason Labour has scrapped the child benefit cap (even though only 6.5% of the UK population identify as Muslim) does indeed make you a racist.
