Healthcare is expensive whether it's universal / country government controlled / or individual.
And there are millions who can't afford it, and because they can't afford it they don't have it. And the Affordable Care Act made it possible until Trump took office in 2016, which then prices started to increase charging those on the Affordable Care Act the same as they would charge individuals not on it.

@Charity no, healthcare is far more expensive on the open market than government services are - Americans won't plan or build a healthcare service. They're going to pay more, not to. Good riddance. They're also dying off.
