President Heaps Praise on Mamdani and New York’s Future

“We agree on a lot more than I would have thought,” Trump says about Mamdani.

While this public posture is quite a change for the president, Trump has privately complimented Mamdani in recent weeks. I wrote about that recently.

Mamdani seems to be slightly uncomfortable with Trump’s flattery. He keeps turning back to his affordability agenda. He brings up that there was a portrait of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, whom he admires, at the White House. Trump says Mamdani took a photo with the portrait.

If speaks pretty poorly of Mandami, but Trump has no principles except Trump.

I wonder what the crossover is between MTG and Mandami. When you think about it that way, it makes sense.

Hell, Trump could go back to being pro choice for awhile, and pro-LGBT "again."

@MistyCee I think Mamdani is just trying to be diplomatic. I think Trump feels like being nice to him will make him able to be manipulated. Now I can't say that Mamdani can't be manipulated or not, time will tell.

As far as Mamdani goes, I do honestly think he's just a diplomat and trying to be professional. Time will tell on that too.
