I think Keir Starmer is finished.

As an armchair expert on the murky Kremlinology of UK politics, I sense his time is up. I think that Morgan McSweeney and the bureaucrats who run the party are set to try and replace him with Wes Streeting. All these damaging leaks look very orchestrated and not by Starmer.

The budget is about to drop and it's likely to include a lot of unpopular measures. Starmer is very unpopular and already on weak ground.

I don't think Streeting will be better at all because he's an arch Blairite. His communication skills will give him a brief honeymoon but that will wear off.

I wonder if Labour will speed run the last few years of Tory chaos with fifty thousand PMs in an eyeblink before the fash take over.
@CountScrofula Back to produce in your fridge lasting longer than your PMs?

@CountScrofula I don't think it will but Wes Streeting (the most likely successor) the s the Blairite's Blairite and has been a war with the healthcare unions. The soft left doesn't really have a candidate and the Corbyn wing has been decimated

A left revival isn't going to happen in labour, which is why Im no longer a member

@Burnley123 A party named literally "labour" hating unions is something that'd be too far even for my country lol

@Elessar It's Labour in name only.
