Immigrants sent to El Salvador describe grape and assault by guards and driven to the point of suicide.

A new report by New York Times reported on the conditions of the camps since new Hitler's return to power. Also on an irrelevant note, only 13% of those deported had an actual criminal record even though it still wouldn't be right anyways. I don't really get how you can think that you're better than people in prison as a guard doing that to people. The guards are the ones who are criminals so are the cops 👮‍♀ and scum ICE.

Just a silly question from someone who very pro immigrant. If someone is in a country illegally does that not have some sort of meaning? When we sponsor immigrants here we go through great lengths to be sure they are here legally.

@hippyjoe1955 Does this make rape right? No. Not that you mean it like that just saying. The subject of this post is about corruption in the camps. At the same time, Trump removed status protections from certain groups. People didn't know if they were legal or not. That was in the news also because of how aggressive Trump was being. So it's not really fair to have that discussion so long as what is defined as legal or not isn't relevant so long as Trump keeps trying to remove protections from certain groups.

More over, a veteran got deported because he had a drug charge from 30 years ago when he had ptsd and ptsd wasn't defined yet. He otherwise had a clean record, a lot are in that same boat.
