63,000,000 Million Americans Have Now Personally Experienced Trump and His Party's Cold Contempt for Their Wellbeing.

MAGAs are celebrating what they consider a victory for their party. And they did force the Democrats to capitulate, an outcome that wasn't unexpected. Their victory however does come with a huge caveat: increased public awareness.

Sixty three millions Americans and their families have experienced first hand that their health and wellbeing are not a priority for the "Republicans" and their boss. The needy families enrolled in the SNAP program are spread throughout every state in the country. The people who rely on Obamacare and will watch their premiums skyrocket are concentrated more heavily in red states. These people will certainly remember this in November of next year. These actions are going to further solidify the perception that trump the right are only interested in pandering to the wealthiest among us and have no interest in those less fortunate. The off year elections appear more certain to be a harbinger of thing to come.

They conveniently forget that all the 2025 elections occurred in BLUE states which means they are nothing burgers nationally.
Classic MAGA!

So the elections were meaningless, were they?

Nope.

Mississippi Democrats Break Republican Senate Supermajority. In deeply-red Mississippi, the Dems flipped enough seats in the Senate to break the long-standing Republican supermajority there.

Dems flip Wichita School Board from a 4-3 GOP majority to a 5-2 Democratic majority. Democratic candidates Amy Warren and Amy Jensen defeated Republican incumbents Hazel Stabler and Kathy Bond. Kansas is another one of those states where Democrats are rare as hen’s teeth, yet the Dems won local elections all over the place.

In the Republican stronghold of Buck’s County PA: Two of Tuesday’s school board elections were in Bucks County, Pa., which was considered “ground zero” for right-wing groups’ takeover of school boards in 2021.

A few years ago, conservatives on these boards in Pennbridge and Central Bucks districts were using their roles to pass policies targeting LGBTQ+ students and banning books. Democrats flipped control of both boards in 2023, and on Tuesday, they ousted every Republican from both of these boards, except for one. The Pennbridge school board is now 8-1, with Democratic members in control. The Central Bucks school board is 9-0.

Texas. Democrats won in Lockhart, which sits in a district so red that Democrats normally don’t even run. They had a clean sweep in Cy-Fair ISD, another deeply red area that not even Greg Abbott could save. In SD-9, another red district, there was an 8 point shift for the Democrats.

You can be fed talking points but you can't change facts, even when you call facts "fake news".

LOL😂

@wildland Don't forget sweeping all three PA Supreme Court seats in a state Trump won. The Rs spent a fortune trying to get just one to break the Dems 3-2 majority.
@MoveAlong I think @jackjjackson is too spooked to reply 😂

@wildland He often replies to me with personally insulting memes. He posts a lot of graphs, and charts but can't verbalize very well. In fairness I insult him too but almost always by PM. Rarely in the thread.
I have work to do and as a result can’t instantly correct and laugh at y’all. However please feel free to go ahead with your chicken counting. @wildland @MoveAlong
@jackjjackson Avoiding a response I see ;) Particularly as you were extremely active on several other MAGA related threads, including this one :D Lots of work, though, I daresay :D

@jackjjackson One and counting.

@jackjjackson Evidently you don't have your priorities in order.
I recommend you ask your dem Senators why they didn’t pass the same CR passed by the House immediately. Their attempted and thwarted blackmail hurt a lot of patriotic US citizen taxpayers.

@wildland @MoveAlong
@jackjjackson if you think trying to coerce the republicans into extrending tax credits to guaranteee millions of Americans would keep their healthcare is blackmail, then you are wrong in the head.
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@jackjjackson Actually we're spending borrowed money which I believe we have no intention of ever paying back. Hey, it worked for Trump.
Doesn’t the CR permit yet more borrowing? Has President Trump been in financial trouble during the last ten years? I believe not. He is in the black. How about you? @MoveAlong

@jackjjackson The people hurt the worst, hungry people, were covered. Someone in particular thought it was a good idea to withhold funds.

A lot of the things the government does will hurt people and some will die. EPA laws both for and against protections come to mind. Enact a law and jobs are lost. Don't enact a law and people are harmed.
Had the dems in the Senate passed the CR in September continuing business as usual nothing would have happened. As a result of their failed blackmail of patriotic US citizen taxpayers the dems did nothing when they could have spent seven weeks working on fixing health care problems. @MoveAlong

@jackjjackson Oh, in the last ten years. Well, that totally means it didn't happen.

No, I've never been in financial trouble or gone bankrupt. And I can go back way more than 10 years. You?
Of course never ever not even close. I’m no billionaire but I’m just fine. I’ve worked hard continuously since age 13. @MoveAlong

@jackjjackson I started caddying at a golf course when I was 14. 18 holes for a buck fifty. If I was lucky and no other caddies were available I could carry 2 bags and make the big bucks. When I was 16 I came home from the last day of school and my farther said "I found a job for you. You start Monday laying water line for the city". Pick and shovel work. I think it paid a dollar an hour. I never had so much money.
Good for you! That’s the way it was during those days. @MoveAlong

@jackjjackson I very begrudgingly give you a heart.
