Other animals are not vying for domination over us. Beasts of the forest don't hunt us down to eat or for farming as food to eat the way we do to cattle and fowl.
The ability to be the meanest, cruelest SOBs in the whole damn valley is what keeps us on top..
This is true of us Americans since WW2. Ours could be a universal human trait.
So never rely on a persons better nature. Under pressure, they probably dont have one..😷
True, but such pressure comes from deprivation. Our world is a paradise of beauty and plenty even without human ingenuity to produce more of what we want. Are we intrinsically mean?
