Brilliant two-birds-with-one-stone move! The needy get the supplemental nutrition assistance tRump cancelled, and the Guard has a mission so tRump can't hijack them. Interestingly, SNAP dependence is higher in rural (AKA red) areas.

@ElwoodBlues I hope that more states decide to do this with the national guard. I think it's interesting not only is snap higher in red states but that red states often piggy back off of blue states. There's a lot that blue states pay for, it's amazing
