So 400 million stayed at home?

@meJess Yes, that’s usually how protests work. You might also be shocked to learn the American Civil War involved only about 1–2% of the total population at the time. Throughout history, entire regimes have been brought down by small, determined fractions of society. Not that I’m suggesting that would happen in the U.S.

@meJess what does that have to do with anything. The Civil Rights march on Washington “only” had about 1 million people and it changed the course of history for the better.

@DarthInvader @wishforthenight wow you people are sensitive.
DarthInvader · 36-40, M
@meJess Factual, not sensitive.
