The babbling of the noisy minority notwithstanding, Trump is just doing his job.

You can only vote on one answer.
As he was running for office, he stated very clearly what he was intending to do. He won a majority of the popular vote (yes by less than 2% but he did win it) and he won the electoral college.

Now that he is in office, he is following up on the plan he laid out during the campaign.

Yeah I get it that there are people who do not agree with the majority of voters and who did not vote for him. But what he is doing is honoring our democracy by doing what the voters have hired him to do.

There are people who are trying to make a case that he is doing a bad job as president, but actually he is doing quite well. A little above average. And much better than his predecessor.

To the brain-dead leftists who keep trying to claim that he is breaking our democracy: put a sock in it.

This is what democracy looks like and how it should be. Elected officials doing what the majority of voters want done.

There's a problem with your calculation. He did not win by the majority of the popular vote, he got more votes that any other candidate, but in fact he got less 50% of the votes cast.

That is NOT a majority of the popular vote.

There's no point debating the rest of your point.

@Northwest and as I linked below his approval levels are poor. Even in a number of red states.

his approval levels are poor.

Yes, of course, but I really wanted to remain focused on the central fallacy of the OP's argument.

@Northwest He had just over 51% when I went to bed on election night.

@Northwest The Economist is a socialist rag with no credibility. Might as well cite a ouiji board

AI Overview:

he Economist has a political leaning that favors economic liberalism, particularly free markets, deregulation, and free trade. Its stance is often described as being in the "radical center" or centrist. While it has endorsed both Republicans (like Ronald Reagan) and Democrats (like Bill Clinton) in the past, it does so based on which candidate best aligns with its liberal, yet centrist, principles, which often include free markets and individual freedom.

Anything else you care to be wrong about? Every single claim you made, is categorically wrong.

@Northwest Wow you have it bad. Sadly, there is no known cure for TDS other than rationality and open mindedness so I guess you just have to keep suffering. Poor you.

The typical MAGA response when confronted with facts. You're not very original. Try a fact. Just once.
