@sree251 OK. You see the reality, so we can talk.. But here is the thing. All any nation has to do to America is refuse to ship goods until the US agrees to pay in something other that $US printed dollars. Say maybe silver. or gold.. or Euros or Yuan. This will trigger massive devaluation of the $US.. But that will be better that the internal shortages and supply stoppages inside America when the parts, products and oil stop arriving from all over the world..😷

Thank you for the words of Warren Buffet. I have no debt. I stay constantly liquid with lots of cash and pay no attention to investments of all kinds except US Treasuries which is cash. Death would be a good exit before the market crash or, more likely, war.

@sree251 If your cash is operating cash, then good for you. I wouldnt be holding large amounts in cash or T bonds now. If the inflation starts to bite, you will lose purchasing power. but more power to you for being solidly grounded..😷

My cash is plain cash in the bank with the bulk in 4-week Treasury bills. I have been doing this for years regardless of interest rate. My stash is enough to see me thru this life. I have no desire to mess around with it and wreck my peace of mind. Inflation can bite all it wants. It won't threaten my security because eggs are still $6 a dozen. It's ok if it go up to $12 a dozen. Food is cheap and air is free. I have no wife and kids. My family is the plumber, electrician, and other tradesmen who keep my life humming along.
