I can't imagine them living much longer really. They are getting very old.

@JimboSaturn 1945 -1964 I believe. You're not far out of that cohort are you?
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@ArtieKat Yes I'm close I was born in 69. My parents were boomers born right after the war (early boomers) and I'm Gen X

@JimboSaturn I wasn't saying you are - but 5 years above the upper age limit is surely not much in the scheme of things?
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@ArtieKat Maybe. I identify as Gen X because I don't consider myself the same generation as my parents. To me baby boomers were the hippies of the 60's. Oh yes, I'm next on the list of people that are going to die sooner than later lol

@JimboSaturn you're gen x. The last boomer was born in 1963.

@Roundandroundwego artie was just saying since I'm close to the cut off im like a boomer . But since my parents are boomers I can be the same generation

@JimboSaturn my parents were typical Silent Generation members, though my mom was also close to her Edwardian siblings in thinking. That makes a huge generational gap, obviously a boomer is different. I read "How to Win Friends and Influence People", because the Silent Generation did, but I didn't like it or think it was good advice, like they did.
My brother, born 1965, was Gen X. He had no interest in reading books that old people recommend. He knew how to buy Cliff notes.

@JimboSaturn yes we are going to die except for maybe one boomer that down voted your comment. Not me I face reality.
