It's funny how much the reich wing hates it when we quote Charlie Kirk!

I wonder if Kirk had the same opinion of the word sympathy? That of course is considerably older and predates most current European languages as it is borrowed from Classical Latin which in turn borrowed it from Classical Greek.
Is there a name for the kind of statement that Kirk made there? It feels a bit like an ad hominem attack.

He's right about it being made up, lots of words were consciously created. But this one long predates the current usage of New Age, it's from 1895.But then again New Age has been used to describe at least three new ages, starting in about 1640.
