She is the perfect example of someone who used fantastical conspiracy theories and being controversial to elevate her status. She believed none of it. Her pretending to for financial and political gain is appalling. People believed that she believed.
She is still a racist. A bigot.
She is an elected official. Her state is suffering. In order to be elected again, she must advocate for those suffering constituents, or like the rest of her party, she is toast.
