Trump Faces Military Resistance After Unlawful Directive

Trump trying to weaponize the military against its own civilians, we'll see how military resistance works out. I'm secretly hoping that there's massive resistance in every direction but I'm highly skeptical. I know that they're taught to obey orders like good little golden retrievers so I hope for the best, expect the worst.

1. Grow a spine, peaceful protesting is not rioting. Slight disagreements or getting mad or yelling doesn't still equal rioting. Love how you think cities are apocalyptic warzones, it's too cute.

2. Read the room honey. The post was about military resistance not low recruiting numbers, not sure why you mention something that didn't exist. But also the recruiting thing happened way before Trump. The reason it was low under Biden was for different reasons. I always like to stay logical rather than making up some kind of power and glory 'MUERICA fantasy personally but you do you. Trump isn't responsible for higher numbers but initiatives that were put in place before him.

@redredred Read the room. Did you see that "speech" in front of the brass. You could practically hear the facepalms. And recruitment can go up when you lower the quotas every year.

And deploying the military against the US population during peace time is against the law. It is a direct violation of posse comitatus and there are no riots.

And even riots would not make it legal. The only legal justification would be a rebellion. Like what you right wingers pulled in the 1860s.

No surprise you are a cheerleader for fascists though.
