I can't see that happening, but how or why might it, short of Trump standing down for some reason (also unlikely)?

Do the USA's Constitution and governmental processes allow for an early change of President - other of course than in the case of incapacity or death of the incumbent?

@Wiseacre That was a bit sarcastic. Of course I can see the possibility, just as it would be possible in any country.

I simply asked if the USA has a formal process to cover any such eventuality, or even of a President abdicating the post for whatever reason.
