Why does MAGA reject the teachings of Jesus and embrace the Old Testament instead?

They don't even do that..otherwise, they wouldn't have tattoos, eat bacon or venison, they would keep their hair trimmed and nice, they wouldn't be idolizing the president, among numerous other rules and regulations the Lord put down in the bible. They just cherry pick the parts they want to follow
