What do your politicians do for you?

Near as I can tell the liberals offer the same ever-worsening status quo and the conservatives just want to get rid of people who never did anything to me.

Particularly at a federal level does anyone actually offer policy that improves your life? The only person who seems to do better and better is whoever my boss is at any given time, and those guys didn't need the help.

I'm sorry that your Canadian national government is handling you so poorly. In your confederation, the provinces have a big rôle; does your treat you well?

@BorealPedant I figured you were speaking from your own perspective.

We got rid of a confederation because it wasn't working. And Canada hobbles itself by looking like all the provinces and territories to outside businesses, which blows my mind.

But the Democratic party has done much for this country, not at all as your characterization of liberals. The Republicans gave up on wanting to run the country with others sometime around Reagan / Gingrich.

The faced death by demographics.

So the Fascism / White [non-]"Christian" Nationalism really appeals to them as a tool of stopping the march of demographics, etc.
