Republicans hold all 3 branches of Government and wouldn't negotiate with Democrats.

Americans voted for two parties that back Israel every day and despise them. No sympathy

The Democrats don't have the power to shut down the government. The vote to shut it down came from the Republicans because Republicans had the voting power to stop the shutdown, but they chose not to. Democrats are nothing but a bunch of powerless flies on the wall anymore.
