A certain user on here spreads political lies and exaggerations.

I won't say the username because that would be against ToS but they have made posts putting muslims in general in a very bad light, disinformation about international affairs, and once even posted a lie specifically about a city I live just outside.

I know it's just one person online but it is harmful. People in general don't pause to check facts, they just get angry and react. So when someone sees this user saying things that, for example, make muslims in our own state of Texas sound like terrorists, it is perpetuating political aggression.

For those who can't think in any terms other than "us vs them", no, I am not muslim, and no, I'm not a liberal or a democrat. I would say the same things here if he spread lies about christians or atheists or polytheists or any other group because I see people beyond just what a news station tells me to see. His posts are provably disinformation that will inevitably have some sort of effect on how someone in the public views the groups he speaks of.

Check sources, people. Research before you believe what you read because you never know what kind of weirdo is posting it.
