Democrats must be gracious, empathetic and call for calm on all sides.

Republicans can mock the victims, blame only one side, and demand more violence.

For Democrats, a single post from a random, anonymous user online will be treated as a statement from “the left”.

For Republicans, the outpourings of the right’s most powerful voices, in politics or the media, and including the president himself, somehow get a free pass.

Sums it up nicely. Democrats and Republicans aren't playing by the same rules.

MAGA can't wait to take away the guns of law-abiding democrats in preparation for the upcoming civil war that they've been horny for for such a long time. And 2A Republicans aren't going to stand by their principles then.
Not that that's even the biggest issue here. Just wanted to throw it in.
