Face it we got Trump because the Democrats put up someone who was once rated as the most liberal senator in the US senate. Had they put up a more centrist candidate Trump would not be president. On top of that it can happen again, if Republicans put up someone from their right wing of the party and Democrats put up someone like Sanders or OAC it will happen again.

@Kenworth4954 I am sure they have plenty of candidates who were more middle of the road like Bill Clinton was just the left wing has kept them out in the primaries.
