Charlie kirk's assassin turned himself in

He would have gotten away with it too lol. But I guess his family is Mormon and the killer dressed as Donald Trump for Halloween so they're right winged lol. I dunno the motive but I know judging from the pics they are all maga.

The inscriptions on his gun were an Italian anti-facist song.

@JimboSaturn For sure. I think it's interesting, I wonder if he just changed his mind. It is rather weird to wear a Trump costume for Halloween i mean not even making fun of Trump either but a serious costume and then shoot Kirk. We'll have to see.

@JimboSaturn @SatanBurger So, Tyler Robinson is very likely a Trump fan/MAGA and a groyper and groypers hated Kirk for his opposing and 'moderate' views

The Groypers, sometimes called the Groyper Army, are a group of alt-right, white nationalist, and Christian nationalist[5] activists led by Nick Fuentes.

@faery but why would he have anti fascist inscriptions then
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@JimboSaturn another inscription was"hey facist,catch!"
faery · F
@JimboSaturn Because Kirk was an Evangelical who spoke against all other forms of Christianity, including Mormonism, which is Robinson's religion. Even though Christian Nationalists/Groypers are alt-right who seek to preserve a Christian state - similar to the right-wing Evangelicals, to a Christian Nationalist Kirk was a fascist who would seek to oppress their religious freedom.

The call was coming from inside the house, so to speak.

Online sleuths also quickly dug up photos appearing to show Robinson dressed as a “groyper meme” for Halloween.

The Anti-Defamation League calls the group “a loose network of alt right figures.”

The ADL notes that “Groypers regularly confront mainstream conservative organizations like Turning Point USA (TPUSA) for failing to promote a truly ‘America First’ agenda and for not being adequately ‘pro white’” and that Fuentes had been expelled from Charlie Kirk and TPUSA events in the past.

@faery the squatting slav is a meme that existed before groyper adoption. It is entirely possible that it's an unaffiliated usage. Heck, I knew about it but I didn't know they took it until reading this

@Jackaloftheazuresand I think I am out of touch with the youth online culture. My daughter says these inscriptions are mostly silly memes that are not what a 56 year old man interprets. The Italian anti fascist song is just a popular online song. We listen to it in fact. What I heard described as homophobic slurs "you're gay" is just silly internet joke. It seems the inscriptions are more pop culture and less political

@JimboSaturn The inscriptions are memes that are political in this context. They are all associated with 'Groyper War'. The whole reason he was there to shoot Kirk was political. Of course it's speculation at this point but I highly doubt Robinson is radicalized to the left, considering he'd dressed as a green-faced Trump and then later as a Groyper for Halloween. As for the Italian anti-fascist song; Groypers and other alt-right groups use it to make fun of leftists. He was calling Kirk a leftist as an insult.

@Jackaloftheazuresand Yes, Pepe the Frog made his debut in 2005. On January 10th, 2013, the earliest reference to the Slav Squat on 4chan surfaced. In 2017, Robinson dressed as Trump with a green face, a possible reference to Pepe the Frog. The use of memes in political violence started in earnest in 2019. I haven't been able to find out the exact year he dressed as the Pepe meme but it definitely wasn't before 2013. However, it’s somewhat likely, I suppose, that he was just a teenage boy dressing up as memes he didn't understand that he saw online. I happen to think it's highly unlikely he didn't know exactly what the meme has come to mean.
