Not necessarily... no.
As long as religious people can reason in a secular fashion AND understand that their legeslation isn't there to appease their personal god but has to apply to everyone... I don't have an issue with it. Just respect the seperation between church and state.
Then there is also the idea of atheists being better when they are in charge... I don't think atheism excludes tendencies of bad leadership.

@Kwek00 Charlie Kirk was an exponent of ending the separation between church and state , just like the christo nationalist fascists who now comprise today's Praetorian Guard in the GOP.

@LegendofPeza If you read my answer to your question, he would be excluded of office in my reasoning. Your question however isn't about radical fanatics, it simply reads:
I'm not the biggest fan of Biden, but if the answer to your question is "yes", he would be excluded from office considering that he was a catholic. During his presidency but even in the latter part of his time as a representative, I've no indication that his catholicism kept him from respecting that legeslation shouldn't be tailored just too the religious.
Wouldn't it be a better idea to put the atheists in charge of things ?

@Kwek00 The question wasn't entirely serious.

@LegendofPeza Well, I answered it in a serious way anyway.

@LegendofPeza And what happened to Charlie, and why?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Therealsteve He got shot... we don't know why.
